BT Compliance
BT Compliance (BTC) is a small Australian firm which started operations in 2016. Its mission is to provide advisory services to small-medium enterprises and to all types of not-for-profit organizations.
BTC primarily operates in Perth (Western Australia), but is also available for assignments in Melbourne (Victoria) and Sydney (New South Wales). Opportunities in other States and Territories and overseas can be discussed as well.

How we work
Generally our packages are structured as follows:
Scope identification & planning
- organize a free introduction meeting to discuss the scope, budget and timeline (in person, or via Skype)
- submit a formal proposal for client authorization
Field work, assessment & reporting
- obtain and review all relevant documentation
- conduct a field visit (if possible)
- identify complying / non-complying issues and make recommendations
- discuss the results with the client (by phone or email)
- submit the assessment or audit report to the client
- (optional: conduct a follow-up assessment)
Personal profile
BT Compliance is founded and managed by Gerhard Bakker, a professional Engineer who has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years. Gerhard has worked in Australia, Indonesia, the Middle East and the Netherlands on numerous projects, ranging from multi-billion dollar project value, to much smaller ones.
Gerhard has volunteered for a number of not-for-profit organizations as Secretary, Treasurer and Managing Director. He is a passionate team worker, and has engaged with many people from different cultural backgrounds.
